INTERPRETATION OF ERITREA
Eritrea is a little nation in the horn of Africa with the Red Sea as its coastline and Saudi Arabia across the sea. It is an African nation despite being in the Arab region. It’s name is Greek and means Red Sea. It is a multi ethnic nation whose population more than doubled in past 15 years and has no official language.
Most people adhere to Christianity (50%) or Islam (48%) and only one registered Jew. all religious groups must register with the government who forbids radical versions of any-- Jehovah Witness, Seventh Day Adventist , Bahai Faith cannot worship freely.
Its human rights record is one of the worst in the world-- arrest and detaining & imprisoning Any who oppose the government. NOT A FREE NATION. NO freedom of press, assembly, speech, or associations(marriage). All must complete a mandatory national service of indefinite length & On 2007 they banned female mutilation.
